help me...my throat hurts...it's like my throat is being rubbed by sandpaper... can't swallow hard food...oh gosh...and this stupid sore throat even leads to a slight sore eye...haiz~ went to see the company doctor and he gave me some antibiotics and eye drop...tomorrow's the last day of the week!!yipeeeeee!!!

had a delicious lunch today...we cooked porridge in the office with some other simple side dishes. a pretty nice way to have lunch cause it draws everyone closer together...and today our finance manager received a bouquet of roses from her hubby cos it's their wedding anniversary! how sweet!!! the roses colours are so sweet and well commination of colours with the rest of the colours!!gosh~ if im the one who receive the flowers i will feel that im the most fortunate woman on earth with a hubby that love me so much!!
today's also desiree 19th birthday!!

keep on going gurl...cos you're only left with one last paper!!you can do it!! rem my birthday in aust was pretty sad compared to my previous birthday celebration in singapore with all my close friends around...nowhere is better than home...a foreign country will never be able to replace our real and original home...didn't use to find singapore fantastic cause it's so small and no where to go...except town where all the familiar faces are but after a long time away from home you'll really realise how nice and important a home, family and friends are to you...even if you have friends with you in a new country the feeling is still different fm your friends back home...there's always something missing in you...maybe a longing to be back home with the "real gang"...so friends really do play a important part in your life...they lend you a shoulder to cry, a ear to listen to your grumbles and complains and always will be there for you whenever you need them...n gossip session among the gurls...how can anyone don't have any friends??

back to work today...as usual was woken up by my stupid alarm clock! really feel like smashing it whenever it rings...grace came to work today but i tink the job at the clinic really doesn't suit her...think it doesn't suit a lot of ppls too hee~ but i think homemaker should be able to handle the job...looks like it's back to lunch with my collegues soon...
the shredder company called to chase for their payment as we owe them a cheque for the servicing of our shredder...well they deserve to wait as they made us wait for 3 weeks when we asked them to service our shredder! they even dare to lie to us! when we chase them urgently for it they keep saying the parts have not arrive from germany yet so they derserve it! *grinz* since u make us wait so long for our shredder dan u have to wait patiently for your cheque too...so we'll be fair and square!! they even have the cheek to say that they'll have to come and collect back the shredder from us till they receive our cheque!!looks like it's gonna be pretty happening in the office tomorrow...well since your parts take such a long time to arrive...our cheque will also take a longer time to be posted out! hahaha
another hour to end my day......please let the time pass faster!!it seem to be crawlling......

celebrated melvin's 19th bday yesterday...wasn't much of a celebration anyway but we definately had a great meal at sizzle...yummy food and wide variety of salad at the salad bar, though it wasn't really very appealing to me *hee*
watch the incredibles yesterday!! it's definately a 10/10 movie!! ppls u gotta go catch it cos it's too good!! i simply love jack jack!! the little babay in the show...he look so innocent with his two big marble eyes and sweet smile but oh man when he gets angry when he was taken hostage by the bad guys haha~ he was the most scary baby in the world...hope they'll have a plush of jack jack soon hee~ he's simply so adorable!! we book the director's club seat at the theatre haha damn comfy...there was no blocking and the seats are so comfy for us to slack...and even a personal table for your food and drinks...only the theatre was pretty dirty...full of pop corns on the floor...but overall is pretty good but also very ex...instead of the usual $8.50 per tix it's $15 per tix!! and the price is not including food...
back to work tomorrow...im already feeling the blues...but i'll get to see grace tomorrow cause she's the newly employed receptionist at the clinic downstairs...haha such a coincidence rite...so now we'll not only see each other on every saturday but from monday to saturday...will have someone to gossip and have lunch together already!! hehe see you tomorrow girl!!

lalala~ i've got my driving license!! hee~ so happi...they're so efficient...was expecting to receive next week cos they say they'll sent me in two weeks time but i've got it today!!haha~
went to tanglin shopping centre to attend my employment act seminar...oh god...i was so sleepy during the first half of the seminar...almost fall asleep while listening to the speaker but tea break was good...had spicy curry puff during the first break...and it's real spicy...the filling was all red!! second break we had egg mayo sandwitch...was good but would be even better if they did not have those small tiny bits of cucumber mix with the eggs...spoilt the taste...hee
went to cut my hair today...cut away 2 inches and now is pretty short compared to my previous length...but didnt have a choice, cos the ends of my hair has lots of spilt ends...i also cut my fringe, it's not slightly above the eyebrow...hee~ wanted to try a new style cos always the side fringe and getting pretty bored looking at myself at the mirror so decide to change hee~ tomorrow is the last day of the seminar...hope time pass quickly so i would not doze off in between haha~~

aniwae went to see "shutter" last nite...oh my god...the ghost seem to appear in almost every scence n the loud music jux gives me the creeps...but the ghost is very pitiful too...so she's back for her revenge...but the poor guy that didnt die has to carry the ghost on his shoulder for the rest of his life...but he deserve it anyway...since he's also partly responsible for the girl's death...so guys dun mess with gurls k...or you'll get it from us *grinz*

went to goodwood park hotel to celebrate mummy birthday with dear and qianhui. had international buffet! yummy!! and the price is pretty reasonable too except if they had a wider variety of food would be even better...but the cakes are delicious!! especially the american cheese cake and the chocolate mousse...so cute...they're serve in those shot glass with almonds and cream on top...*drooling* hee
watch taxi yesterday...a pretty nice show, give it 7 popcorns out of 10! the bad girls in the movie are so sexy...slim with nice long legs hee~ n the taxi driver driving skills is oh my gosh! 10/10!!!haha she's so cool, doubt mine driving skills will be that good...especially my parallel parking...it sucks to the core *hee*
aft the show we went for a spin with dear being the driver...today went to ubi, traffice police headquarter to get mine license...pretty fast and easy...all i had to show them was mine results for mine basic theory, my aussie driving license, past-port to proof i studied in aust and fill in a form and pay them 50bulks and i'm able to drive!!hee~ they sent me the actual license in two weeks time...cant wait! it's a long weekend, feel so good to be sleep in...and i actually have 3 more days to sleep in!!! haha~

there's a board meeting today with all the directors in the office...make the atmosphere so panicky...but luckily the meeting ended aft lunch...today is shredding day for me cos we dig out all the old interview resume and application forms to shred...gosh there's like 10 boxes n i onli complete 3 boxes...left with 7 more box to shred on tuesday when i go back to work on work next tuesday...tomorrow is rest day cos it's deepavali!!

*monday blues* im so sleepy today but luckily there's lots of work to do to keep me awake...had to book tickets for mine M.D and she's so busy! so hard to reach her and confirm the flight details with her...finally manage to get in touch with her and book the tickets...company policy actually allow executive to fly on business class if the flight is longer than 6 hrs!! if only im also an executive *hee*
it's such a small world...sherlyn's dear, mr jeremy is actually working in a printing company which mine company have dealings with...we juz sent our letterhead to their company for prints of our company ROC number hee~ so sherlyn, ask your dear to give us special pricing ok! and i've also ask for quotation from his company for the printing of our company name cards...whats taking them so long to get back to us??? hehe

went to watch princess diaries 2 yesterday at plaza singapura...a nice movie and it's so funny! a definate must watch movie and the prince is soooo handsome *hee* he has such nice eyes...blue pupil...gosh...im drooling haha~ but i doubt there'll be a part 3 to this show unless they show her life as queen of Genovia and maybe her marriage life?
went to dear's daddy office to see his new puppy, cookie, after the show...oh my god...she's sooo cute!!so small and so adorable!!juz wanna bring her home haha~ but too bad she's not mine...

a hectic day today...was suppose to make hotel arrangement for my M.D so she can have a place to stay when she goes for her seminar in melbourne but i jux can't seem to be through to the office in aust...mailbox keep saying that the office is close for melbourne cup...but issn't melbourne cup already over??it was even announce on the news last night which horse won the race!! and im afraid that the hotel will be fully booked cause schools are having holidays now!! why is the office still close when melbourne cup is already over???
receive this call from a demanding caller today, wanting to look for the physician that appear on tv but she doesn't know the name of the physician and didnt even know what is the illness the physician was discussing about on the tv!! all she know is that the physician has single eyelid and very short hair and she expect me to identify the physician for her?? HELLO!! i don't go around looking at all the physician eyes and recording who has single and who has double eyelid ok!! and this caller insist on looking for this physician!! so i told her why dont i give her all the clinic contact number and she can describe her "description" of this physician to the clinic assistant and the clinic assistant might be able to identify this physician for her!! in the end she had no choice but to hang up and say she'll call back again but she never did...thank god she didn't!!!

im so tired...i hate the alarm clock ringing and having to drag myself to work everyday...especially when it's raining!! oh gosh, doesn't raining days makes it even nicer to sleep in.
met sherlyn for lunch today n had kuey chap (correct spelling??)...actually i've been meeting her for lunch since monday...looks like it's gonna continue till end of the week but it's good...at least there's company n gossip over lunch *grinz*
i can't wait till friday so i can sleep in during the weekends and meet up with dear for a movie!! how i wish everyday is saturday or sunday so i dun have to go to work...working can be fun when there's new things to do and thankfully my collegues are nice ppl and there's no politics or back-stabbing in the office...but sometimes there are also some pretty "challenging" things to do...like having to arrange my M.D(managing director) flight to melbourne...i'm afraid i might miss out some things and land her in the wrong place!!! if that really happen i guess i'm so dead and so gonna lose my job...i'm so afraid of making mistakes!!
answering of calls can be pretty funny and irritating at the same time...it's nice when the caller is direct and poliet, hangs up when i've given them the answers to their questions but there can be some demanding callers that are so long-winded and refuse to hang up!!!oh my god!!i'm just a receptionist not the founder of the company!! there are also certain questions that can get me tounge-tied!!! so please don't make life miserable for me!!!
next week im gonna have some serious day off...thurdays is deepavali, back to work on friday and sat, sun and mon is public holiday!!yesh!!! so happy!! but right now i'm counting down!!

is it necessary for everyone to eat vege and fruits? i know an apple a day keeps the doc away but i dun like fruits n vege but im still keeping the doc away! hee~ but grams dun seem to agree with my logic that not everyone mux eat fruits n vege to keep the doc away...
it's good for health but im still a beginner with these green stuff so y cant anybody understand! it's a big improvement if i eat few strands of greens...but i've improve ok! not that i dun eat all vege n fruits...i still eat sambal kang kong n watermelons!! *hee*
